This place made me like the tarte flambée (Flammkuchen) again after I had given up on it. I tried the Munster one, and it was really good. The local Gewürztraminer wine I had was also good, and the atmosphere was nice for chilling on the terrace.

A truly fabulous place, with lots of character. The service urgently needs improvement! The main courses were served before the starters, and it was incredibly slow to bring the bread. The same went for the drinks, which we had to ask for three times before they finally arrived. It's a bit crazy because there were quite a few servers, but a clear lack of training. There were three of us, and they chose to seat us at a square table meant for two (even though tables for four were available). There was a terrible lack of space throughout the entire meal, and not a single server cleared the table! What a shame.

Lovely terrace in the shade of a huge tree by the water! It is busy so you have to be lucky to have a table, but we were lucky two times without making a reservation so it is possible. Traditional tasty food, good atmosphere and uplifting service. The best corner in town!

11/05/2026: Came here last November, been meaning to write a review. Best meal of my life. The wine, appetizer, entrees and dessert were individually exquisite. As a complete meal it’s exactly what I’ve always felt like a 5 star restaurant would provide. Couldn’t believe how simple, elegant and tasty everything came out to be. Been to carbone (delicious), I’ve had incredible sushi from Japan, lord knows how much I love tacos from Mexico.. somehow this little place served my wife and I the most memorable meal ever. It was perfect, no room for improvement.
