Au Bois Vert sur Strasbourg

We waited an hour and a half for the food. We were seven people and after waiting an hour they served 4 people and the rest had to wait half an hour longer because they dropped the salmon on the floor. The answer they gave was no because the food fell on the floor and I don't know how long it will take them to make it again. We were very upset by the whole situation. In the end they gave us drinks as a solution. At least something. I wouldn't go back because I had a bad experience but maybe we were just unlucky.

The little restaurant is really cute. We stopped there today for a little lunch. Great tarte flambée and absolutely affordable. Very good value for money. In addition, there is the really friendly service, who also spoke English and even German to us very well when our French wasn't enough. Gladly again and highly recommended!

I went there during the Christmas period, despite the crowds the waiting time could not have been more reasonable! The dishes were delicious, and the service impeccable. Special mention for the illustrations and the menu card which I find absolutely incredible, created by an artist that I was able to discover. Thanks again !

I quite liked this place. Rather special atmosphere and the meals to match. I would suggest trying the wild game meat or pretty much anything else from the menu.
