This brasserie is located a short walk from the famous castle. We had a quick dinner there one evening before a lecture at the university next door. The service was rather rushed and the food quite basic. It's better suited for drinks on the terrace than for a romantic dinner for two.

Slow service (15 minutes to get a menu + order at the counter in the end), the charcuterie was good but the bread was terrible. The cocktail was average. I appreciate the gesture of goodwill regarding the wait and for them not being able to find my order when it came time to pay. The location was really nice.

A delicious tartare, an okay pizza, the service is quite slow -- but if you just wave them and ask for a menu, and then wave them and point to what you want to order, they're good. The food is tasty, the service is tolerable, can recommend for a quick snack before or after visiting Versailles.

The restaurant is very nice and the food was decent. However, I was very surprised by a strong body odor coming from several members of the staff. The smell was so unpleasant that I preferred to eat outside rather than inside the restaurant. It's a shame, because the atmosphere and setting are pleasant. I hope this point will be taken into account to improve the customer experience.

15/06/2026: The meal was fine except for the main courses, which weren't hot. Barely lukewarm. We mentioned this to the waiter, who offered us a digestif. We accepted it, but it cost us €60... we thought it was an apology for the lukewarm food. After our comment, he offered us another one at his own expense, which we declined. That's how you lose customers. We still ended up paying over €400 with the menu, aperitifs, water, and wine...
19/05/2026: Two-hour wait for a main course and dessert, and starters added/sold even though they hadn't been ordered.
