A True Japanese Experience in Strasbourg Hibiki is an excellent Japanese restaurant in Strasbourg, already highly rated and clearly deserved. It offers an omakase-style dining experience, run by a Japanese team, with an authentic and perfectly executed approach. The welcome and service are impeccable, attentive, and warm. The dishes are refined, delicate, and well-balanced, with a remarkable selection of appetizers. Special mention goes to the homemade tofu, which is simply exceptional. This is a truly high-quality Japanese restaurant, without any unnecessary frills. The sakes are excellent, and if you've never tasted a truly good Japanese sake, this is definitely the ideal place to discover it. There's also a very nice wine selection. I was with colleagues who were completely unfamiliar with Japanese cuisine, and they loved the experience, from the food to the chef's and the service. A quick personal note: apologies to the waiter for the noise; they weren't used to this type of cuisine and were perhaps a little too enthusiastic… but it was mainly a sign that they were having a wonderful time. Remember to book ahead. Would I go back? Absolutely. A sure bet in Strasbourg.

Quality products from real Japanese cuisine, not from chain stores.

Good restaurant run by real Japanese people. I was a regular customer for lunch breaks when I worked nearby. The welcome was always warm, and the server called me by my first name. However, I changed my workplace, but I came a few months later. The server didn't even recognize me, even though we'd been seeing each other almost every day for several months. And the welcome was pretty cold. So I never came back. On the other hand, the food is good, nothing to complain about.

Wonderful and surprising experience. Lovely and professional staff. Good evening advice. Excellent sake and wine selection. Wonderful, authentic cuisine, a change from a menu based solely on sushi, but rather on traditional Japanese cuisine. Almost deserves a star. I'll be back!!!

A very pleasant surprise. A succession of starters and main courses, all equally refined and full of flavor. A bonus for the scorpion fish, a dish that's not that common. A place to try again just to test the rest of the menu.

Incredibly refined Japanese cuisine, each dish is a journey of flavors. The servers are exceptionally professional: attentive, fast, and always smiling. The Zen atmosphere adds a soothing touch that makes you want to linger longer. In short, a place you'll happily return to, with your eyes closed... but above all, with your stomach wide open! 🍣

Refined, quiet, excellent cuisine, perfect service. There are worse, but they are more expensive!!!! I recommend it
