14/08/2026: We had dinner last night, November 9th, in this very pleasant restaurant with its typically Alsatian decor. The dishes we enjoyed were extraordinarily generous and truly delicious, as were the lavish desserts. The service was absolutely perfect in every respect. Excellent value for money. A must-visit in Schiltigheim. Michel and Marie Moulin, Lyon. Back again this week to this wonderful restaurant that does justice to Alsatian tradition. We had lunch on Tuesday, May 2nd, and again today, May 4th, in this unique setting. The daily menus are exceptional. The dishes are absolutely delicious and the desserts delectable. The service is very efficient and friendly, characterized by great courtesy and kindness. We were delighted with both meals, especially at such unbeatable prices. 31/08/2026: Food was so good, each dish’s portion was more than one person! The owners, were so patient even we did not speak french, told us slowly how to enjoy the food! They’re so lovely. The food may take longer (as its prepared by the couple) but it’s so worth it. The donners were 7~9 euros, and the pastas are in the low 10’s, which is affordable :)

23/08/2026: ⭐️⭐️ This was our second visit to this restaurant, which bills itself as a "gastronomic and bistro" establishment, but unfortunately, we were disappointed once again. The prawn salad starter was very ordinary: bland and nothing special. The Amaretto tiramisu, presented by the waiters as an original version, also disappointed us. It was very dry, clearly lacking in juice, and at €18 for dessert, we have the right to expect much better. This is our second visit, and given the quality offered and the prices charged, we unfortunately don't think this restaurant is worth the asking price. The concept is interesting on paper, but the food and the value for money don't live up to our expectations.

30/08/2026: An absolutely remarkable experience at L’Imaginaire. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we arrived, everything was in place for a wonderful time: a warm welcome, professional, attentive, and perfectly executed service, all within an elegant and pleasant setting. The cuisine lives up to the setting. The dishes are meticulously presented, refined, and bursting with flavor, showcasing the hard work, creativity, and attention to detail. From presentation to tasting, everything is conceived with exquisite finesse. This is exactly the kind of restaurant where you don't just come to eat, but to enjoy a true gastronomic experience. A truly wonderful discovery near Strasbourg, with cuisine that deserves to be appreciated and impeccable service. Five stars without hesitation. An address I highly recommend and where I will return with great pleasure.

29/08/2026: The service was impeccable, an extra star for the sommelier who was truly professional and welcoming. However, the meal was good but nothing special. For almost the price of a Michelin-starred restaurant, it wasn't up to par.

14/08/2026: It's a shame that the aperitif wasn't accompanied by small snacks, even just little sticks or peanuts... next time, the aperitif will be at home... I think it's a loss of revenue for three-quarters of the restaurants with terraces in town, etc... because you're not the only ones, unfortunately!

20/08/2026: I called the restaurant to ask how much a Chicken Masala cost. They told me €9.50. I said I would come back later to order. When I arrived, I wanted to pay in advance, but they said no. Then, when it came time to pay at the end, I had to pay over €20. I was shocked.
