A superb time spent enjoying a perfectly cooked ribeye steak, accompanied by a delicious cinnamon twist cocktail and finished with a sweet treat, Dame Blanche! Not forgetting the warm welcome from the Hippo team in Massy, ​​and in particular Dado's smile and top-notch service – friendly and professional. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Dado!

We came on a Saturday at lunchtime, and it wasn't very busy. The service was excellent. We didn't have to wait long to be served. The menu has changed and is even better than the previous one. Good food. With plenty of choices.

Very good except for the baked apples... The restaurant has a lovely decor, but is quite noisy... There was a very long wait at every stage of the evening, but the poor waitress was running around everywhere. She was lovely, smiling, and very attentive.

So the day before, I ate the same dish at the Hippopotamus in Carré Sénart, precisely to see the difference. The meat wasn't cut like in the menu photo, and like at Carré Sénart, the potato had less sauce and didn't have coarse salt spread on top. In conclusion, the meal was very good, but these small details, compared to other restaurants in the same chain, make a slight difference, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars for the food.

The quality of the meat seems to have improved significantly. The meat is more tender. The sauces are still very small! The atmosphere is welcoming. The staff is always smiling, friendly, and attentive to requests. Being able to stay and chat for quite a while without feeling pressured to leave is very much appreciated. The terrace is a definite plus when the weather is nice, despite the proximity to major roads. The value for money is significantly better due to the improved quality of the meat.

01/09/2026: It was incredibly hot, and we ate on the terrace, right next to the traffic. It was quite noisy, of course, but we put up with it because the food was delicious. However, the cigarette smoke from the customers at the next table was really unpleasant and bothered us a lot.

24/04/2026: And yes, it's the end of an era. We've been eating at La Galettière for 39 years. One of the first customers in 1987 and one of the last to celebrate its closing last Saturday. The best crêperie, I've never found better anywhere else. Very family-oriented. Philippe has always been the same, all these years. Professional, helpful, smiling, friendly, and what more can I say... He introduced me to so many people in the professional world. Over the years, a true friendship developed. Yes, it's true, we're going to miss eating delicious crêpes so much. Now, you definitely deserve to rest and enjoy the good life. Hugs and all the best. Your friends, Gilou and Samia.
20/04/2026: A striking contrast between the discreet storefront and the atmosphere inside. Between my first visit 12 years ago and today, I no longer come with the same people, but Philippe is still there and the crêpes are still just as delicious.
