Very good, I enjoyed it, but not for lovers

Hello, I had the opportunity to have lunch at the Hippopotamus in Villabe on Tuesday, October 20th. There were two of us. When it came time to pay the bill, the waitress put us at the wrong table. It wasn't until later that evening, when I looked at my receipt, that I realized it didn't reflect our consumption. I called the restaurant around 8:00 PM. A staff member acknowledged my complaint, telling me, "It's busy, we'll call you back tomorrow morning around 9:30 AM." And, at 9:30 AM, I received a call from a manager. Knowing that I only eat at this restaurant once a year and that my two customers live more than two hours away, a solution was offered in the form of a refund. Today, November 2nd, I received the refund I was expecting. So, thank you so much. I don't know if many restaurant chains would have done this. Thank you again for your professionalism; I really wanted to let you know. Well done!

Excellent meal. Top-notch service!

Great little restaurant, it's a shame that on the lunchtime I went, not everything on the menu was available (the half chicken was missing). Apart from that, it was really nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Many businesses should take a page from this establishment and its team's book. The only slight drawback is that it's an hour from my home; they should open more places, which is a shame.

Warm welcome, little waiting time. The meat was cooked perfectly and very tender. Excellent value for money. Pleasant and attentive service; we will be back.

The service was excellent, the food perfectly cooked, the portions generous, and the complimentary high-quality sauces, along with suggestions and thoughtful touches from the server, made for a delightful and delicious family meal – a superb discovery! Bravo!

We've been there a few times. It depends on what you order, but it's usually okay, but nothing special. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is okay.
