We had a great meal for four at this Hippopotamus on Saturday night. The chain is still more expensive than the Buffalo one for the same quality. I recommend it.

We arrived late and were warmly welcomed. The servers were pleasant, helpful, and attentive. There was a slight issue with the dish we were served (the meat was tough), but the kitchen reacted quickly, and in the end, we had a wonderful time. Thank you.

29/10/2025: First meal at this establishment, even though I lived nearby until recently. There were four of us, and we opted for the €30 set menu (starter, main course, dessert). Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the food and the cleanliness of the place. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

08/05/2026: A small restaurant with a terrace along the canal where I was able to enjoy the nice weather with a good meal :)
13/02/2026: An atmosphere... a vast and beautiful bistro restaurant run by two professional women... very decent food... a beautiful authentic establishment without frills and without artifice.
