We tried it with friends during our day in Lille. We were satisfied with the dishes and the cooking was excellent. A little disappointed by the somewhat gloomy atmosphere in the restaurant, but you have to keep in mind that it was a Sunday, a rainy day. The staff was responsive and helpful, and the restaurant and restrooms were clean and well-maintained. The menu is very affordable and comprehensive.

The lunch menu: piece of beef, gratin dauphinois, green beans, béarnaise sauce. The meat was a bit tough and sinewy, which is very rare for them. I'm used to better, so that's 4/5. The service was excellent and very friendly.

The steak was good but the staff were very unprofessional. One staff member was shouting at another staff in front of all customers and then she was just very moody with everywhere. The people on the table next to ours even noticed this and found it very unprofessional.

A little disappointed, some adjustments to be made: medium steak instead of rare, dish served just 2 minutes after the cocktails arrived... but pleasant place with air conditioning

Le Restaurant Campanile

25/08/2024: We spent one night in this quiet hotel located near various restaurants. Clean and functional room. Nickel bathroom. Small downside: the mattress would need to be changed although that did not prevent us from having a good night's sleep. Small problem with the air conditioning, it is high time to change the box to turn on and regulate the air conditioning (completely broken), we had to use a pen to access the "on-off" buttons. Breakfast with quite a few choices. Very friendly staff.
30/07/2024: Stay for work, very functional and clean room but above all a warm welcome from extremely attentive and friendly staff, all orchestrated by a very competent manager.

Novotel Lille Centre Gares Restaurant

24/09/2024: The hotel is very close to the city center. There is a parking garage in the adjacent train station. The hotel's restaurant and lobby are pleasant. Breakfast was pretty good. There was no toilet paper in the room (to be precise - there were two nearly finished rolls). However, the receptionist provided a roll upon request.
24/09/2024: Location is central but ventilation is very poor. Air conditioning did not work in the entire hotel for 3 days and nothing was done about it. Very unfortunate to have to sleep in a closed room at temperatures that are too high.
