Excellent experience! A huge thank you to Elsa, our server, who was exceptionally pleasant, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal. The service was impeccable; we felt truly welcome. The dishes were delicious—a special mention for the Hippo steak, a real discovery for me, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. A big congratulations also to the chefs for the quality of the food. A wonderful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend it!

Excellent restaurant, very welcoming staff. We came as a group of nine and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Noëlle, the server, was fantastic! 👏👏 We highly recommend it.

Everything was (almost) perfect. One small issue arose when we went to pay; we were asked what tip we wanted to add (a percentage option). This surprised us greatly, especially since it wasn't written anywhere. But apparently, since it was bought by Americans...

08/04/2025: Great discovery, it's been a long time since I've eaten such good meat with top-notch, smiling waitresses, it's a shame the place will close its doors.
30/01/2025: This old Lille institution pubstore is a true journey through time, as much for its decor as for the music and the puns used to name the dishes (I love it)!!! The food is delicious, made with fresh, quality produce; we had a blast 😋. The only downside was the particularly unpleasant waitress, who seemed annoyed to be serving our group on a weekday evening when the restaurant was almost empty... She made a mistake on the bill and angrily demanded: "We'll have to pay the difference!" It's perfectly normal, but there are ways to express it, especially when the mistake was hers... I still recommend the establishment, but the service is part of the package, so be careful 😉
