Great place to pick up something quick to eat but still get great food! The quiche is terrific as well as the ham and cheese croissant. They heated both up for us. The apple and raspberry tarts we bought were a perfect small bite treat. Highly recommend!

We happily discovered this boulangerie and patisserie when we wandered just past the clock. Tour groups and tourists were filling the patisseries by the corner opposite the Chateau but we are happy we ventured farther. Service was friendly and excellent and we stopped for lunch as well as picking up delicious patisserie items for our daughter’s birthday. We came back a few more times for baguettes, croissants and pain du chocolates as well. Highly recommend! Merci!

1st experience (validated) with the bagnats breads (chicken and tuna) that I had ordered the day before for the next day at 7:30 a.m.
Our picnic was perfect... we had a great time, the bagnat breads were well filled and the bread was extremely soft, the flan slices were also very good but we already knew that :)
And always this very warm welcome and very good service in the city center boutique with a smile and good humor!

Nous y avons mangé un samedi midi lors de nos vacances en Touraine. La boulangerie est bien décorée et agencée. Il y a du choix et tout semble bon. Nous avons pris deux menus sandwichs et avons mangés sur place. Le pain des sandwichs est correct (baguette pas croustillante, dommage). Les sandwichs sont bons. Quant aux pâtisseries, celles-ci sont bonnes, mais pas exceptionnel comme aurait pu le laisser suggérer le visuel. Et nous avons terminé par deux cafés avant de reprendre notre route; les cafés sont bons. Enfin, le lieu est assez bruyant donc pas l'idéal pour une pause au calme. Bref, une bonne boulangerie-pâtisserie.

We ate there on a Saturday lunchtime during our vacation in Touraine. The bakery is well decorated and laid out. There is a choice and everything looks good. We took two sandwich menus and ate there. The bread for the sandwiches is OK (baguette not crispy, too bad). The sandwiches are good. As for the pastries, they are good, but not exceptional as the visual might have suggested. And we finished with two coffees before resuming our journey; the coffees are good. Finally, the place is quite noisy so not ideal for a quiet break. In short, a good bakery and pastry shop.
