29/04/2026: A superb meal for two! The cuisine was expertly prepared, with high-quality dishes made from fresh ingredients and served promptly despite the restaurant's popularity. The service was quick, polite, and attentive, even though tables were immediately refilled as soon as we vacated them. And every table was occupied. The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed. The terrace wasn't too noisy, although the proximity of the terrace could have been a factor. There was a wonderful synergy between the kitchen and the dining room. And the view of the castle was the icing on the cake.

18/04/2026: We stayed at the hotel for one night. Upon arrival, there was free parking and a charming garden. The room was standard, in a rather old building, but it did the job. The real surprise was the restaurant and breakfast. After reading the numerous reviews, this definitely influenced our decision to stay here, and we weren't disappointed. The front-of-house staff was superb, full of personality, and extremely friendly. We had a lot of laughs. The kitchen staff also seemed extremely friendly. And the food was flawless. A real treat!

20/04/2026: Very fast service: we had barely arrived when they took our order and within minutes the sweet crepe was ready. The crepe itself was good, but I doubt the "homemade" chocolate was truly homemade; it came from a tube bottle. We didn't try the savory crepes.

28/04/2026: The beef rump was cooked medium rare and was very difficult to even put a knife through. It was awful, extremely tough and we were treated as a number in a busy restaurant. Zero customer service. We were disappointed and should have stayed with our original plans to dine at La Planque. We do not recommend if you would like a dinning restaurant! The service is very slow and the owner was abrupt when we went to pay…excuses for poor quality, she was challenging our experience with beef products…we have excellent beef in Canada we don’t need to have a lecture on beef preparation. You have a poor restaurant in quality. Terrible experience! .

Here I am again at this establishment, always a pleasure to come and eat, a warm welcome, and modest and simple food. It's a shame it's so far from the city. But don't hesitate to make a detour there; you won't be disappointed.

25/04/2026: Top-notch and surprising house beers, from the white stout to the double IPA (not bitter) and the rice lager. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The outside is quiet and not too noisy. It's a shame they don't have a deposit on glass cups, even a higher one; it would be nicer than the (pretty) plastic cups. It's also a shame they no longer serve hot dogs. All in all, a pleasant evening in the only real beer bar in town.

21/04/2026: Nice restaurant. A slight lack of staff training and a lack of clarity on the menu, and perhaps some communication between the front of house and the kitchen. It's not an easy job. The pizzas and desserts were very good.

20/04/2026: Judging by all the positive reviews, I think the chef was probably off today. The pasta was bland and tasteless; I've never eaten so badly in an Italian restaurant. Never again.

20/04/2026: Absolutely lovely meal…wonderful starter of asparagus and pork belly and fantastic bream and vegetables for entree. My husband had lamb shoulder that was so tender! A little bit of a walk from the tourist center but totally worth it!

10/04/2026: This restaurant, located a bit out of the way (but next to our hotel, "Le Blason"), advertises "seasonal cuisine with fresh ingredients." It lives up to its promise, and the food is delicious. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The cuisine is perfect: choice ingredients, expertly cooked and seasoned. A few surprises and amuse-bouches punctuate the meal. The service is on par with the food! No waiting, and always with a smile and friendly service.
