Overall a good restaurant but not transcendent. The setting is very pleasant, right next to the Dordogne and the restaurant is nestled in the heart of the charming village of Les Eyzies. We ordered two duck confits with Sarladaise potatoes and a glass of Bergerac. The duck leg was very good but not tender in the middle, the vegetables quite good but not salty and therefore too bland for my taste. The plate is provided, the dish is very decent but overall I find the restaurant somewhat oversold. Furthermore, I find it regrettable not to offer evening menus (only a la carte starters, main courses and desserts, moreover more expensive than the lunch menu...). To be tested even if my opinion is mixed

A very nice place to eat. The setting is superb and the menu is gourmet but the class is not there and although the dishes are elaborate, I suspect the
Céviche prepared with cod (a little soaked in water from being taken out of the freezer).
The staff does their best but does not have the level of a gourmet restaurant. Finally, the price of coffees is steep.
So it's rather a disappointment.

Gut, aber preislich an der oberen Grenze für die Leistung. Wir haben für ein Abendessen mit geteiltem kleinen Salat (ordentlich), der Entenbrust (sehr gut) und der kleinen Lammkeule (sehr gut) fast 100.- Euro gezahlt, eine Flasche Wein aus der Gegend und ein Bier waren auch dabei. Der Service ordentlich, die Terrasse wunderschön.

We ate dinner here without a reservation but were welcomed and were accommodated none the less. The service was friendly and warm but unlike other reviews, we did not find it particularly slow. The atmosphere was also cosy and welcoming. The food was well prepared and well presented. All in all, very good but not exceptional.
