Hotel au Relais des Lilas sur Parthenay

Everything was good. The room was clean, staff is friendly. The hotel has good location for late diner(Panda wok) and for great breakfast in nearest bakery.

A warm welcome following a car breakdown that stranded us for the night. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations (something to be aware of), so this is a minor drawback for guests seeking a top-notch experience. For a stopover on the holiday route, the location is adequate. There's a suitable restaurant nearby, as well as the Leclerc shopping center which has a newsagent/tobacconist.

I've been staying there for several weeks and will be for a few more. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is nice, and the owner is nice.

I booked this hotel because of a sporting event in Parthenay, and the welcome was particularly warm and professional. The room was clean, and I encountered no problems whatsoever. A definite advantage, in order to avoid hearing noise from people passing in the hallway, was the double door, which, in my opinion, should be standard in all hotel rooms. It's close to a Leclerc supermarket and several restaurants. There's Wi-Fi and a TV included. Breakfast is all-you-can-eat, as long as you consume what you've ordered in the restaurant, which was quite good, by the way! What more could you ask for?
