Hotel au Relais des Lilas sur Parthenay

We spent two nights at this hotel, including breakfast and dinner. The room was very nice, the welcome was very friendly, and the breakfasts were excellent value for money. The dinner at €21.90 was superb. We absolutely don't understand some of the extremely negative and harsh reviews, which bear no resemblance to reality. We recommend this hotel.

Everything was good. The room was clean, staff is friendly. The hotel has good location for late diner(Panda wok) and for great breakfast in nearest bakery.

A warm welcome following a car breakdown that stranded us for the night. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations (something to be aware of), so this is a minor drawback for guests seeking a top-notch experience. For a stopover on the holiday route, the location is adequate. There's a suitable restaurant nearby, as well as the Leclerc shopping center which has a newsagent/tobacconist.

I've been staying there for several weeks and will be for a few more. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is nice, and the owner is nice.
