We randomly stopped by around 1:00 p.m. for lunch. We were made very welcome and the meal was excellent at a very reasonable price. Note that during our walk, a restaurateur in St Léger la Montagne refused us on the pretext that her restaurant was full and that reservations were full until March 23, a full month (?).

Ah...this stopover village wouldn't be one without this unmissable place, well centered, easy parking, dedicated and smiling staff. And the restaurant is recommended rather than the snack bar a little further up the street... A very hot "carbonnade", carrots and baked apples...and the dish of the day came just in time. Fresh cheeses and chocolate éclairs. The wine, at the table, a little cherot, 21 euros for 50 cl. We'll come back.

Das war auf meiner diesjährigen Pilgerreise durch Frankreich das komfortabelste Zimmer, hätte ich in dem kleinen Ort nicht erwartet. Die Wirtsleute waren sehr freundlich. Mit Händen und Füßen wurden meine Sprachlücken herzlichst überbrückt. Das kleine Hotel liegt unweit der französischen A 20. Nördlich von Limoges. Sollte als Etappenziel vielleicht mit in Betracht gezogen werden.
