30/09/2025: La Truite undoubtedly enjoys one of the best commercial locations in the town of Ferney Voltaire, but it could be put to much better use. The former large kitchen has been closed for several years, and the establishment has been transformed into a pleasant tea room that also sells coffees and teas, both retail and loose. A wide selection of organic coffees and others of various origins is available. Good advice from the owners. We just regret not being able to have lunch there anymore. The owner is very pleasant, but it's clear that the rest of the team hasn't inherited her smile and sense of service. The succession, we fear, is not assured.
