We didn't stay at the hotel we just had dinner at the restaurant! Bravo and congratulations to the chef because it was excellent! We really enjoyed the tuna steak, the prawns and the grilled mussels a la plancha that we shared! The only downside is that in this restaurant you are served wine in a water glass on the terrace on the orders of the owner. According to the waiter, the wine glasses are too expensive and in Chalabre there are a lot of fights and therefore the risk of breakage! So it's impossible to have a glass of wine but as the waiter told me "it's in your head...you get used to it...well it's sure that if we had had a good Burgundy it would have been harder in his opinion…. » implying that the wine we had chosen just deserved the water glass! I admit that this is the first time that I have been confronted with such nonsense! Too bad because with such quality of cooking this injunction spoils the tasting of the dishes and nevertheless ruined my evening! Perhaps you should review your arguments with your server in order to show more finesse and delicacy towards your customers? Also note that drinking wine from a wine glass is only possible in a restaurant! Now we will know!

Stay from 08/22/2024 to 08/24/2024 For business reasons, I stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the restaurant as well. There is a lot of humanity on the part of Chef Didier Limouzy whom I would like to thank for his kindness, the simplicity of the welcome which makes you feel at home. The restaurant offers cuisine using fresh, local produce and offers remarkable value for money! It's simply good, a place like we used to find everywhere in France... which has managed to keep its soul. The service is just perfect, a big thank you to Gladys and Olivier of course who provide the dining room, that's the word! We will see each other again, thank you for all your good care.

Very warm welcome, very clean hotel and room, good bedding, location in the heart of the village with many free parking possibilities, while being very quiet! The +: provision of a free baby bed + the hotel includes a restaurant 😊

Qualité des produits, préparation et présentation au rdv ! Nous étions 6 dont un enfant. La cuisine est exceptionnelle, (goûts, textures, cuissons, présentation, service). le rapport qualité prix incroyable. Une adresse rare, d'un restaurant de haute qualité perdu dans un petit village isolé ; C'est incroyable. La taille copieuse des portions est surprenante pour cette qualité et cette finesse.
