Hotel des Isle sur Barneville-Carteret

A smiling team even with a full room, three starters, three main courses, three desserts to choose from with two formulas which allow you to have fresh and quality products and a cuisine which is renewed every day. The rooms are tastefully furnished and a terrace with a direct view of the sea is just a stone's throw away where you can finish having a coffee after the meal, rare and pleasant, dinner twice in May, highly recommended. Only small criticism, only one rosé offered but which can be enjoyed by the bottle or by the glass, ideal for those who are back on the road.

We came for dinner. Excellent value for money, superb setting, and lovely staff. Precise and straightforward cuisine that respects the ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert.

A very nice hotel, with rooms recently renovated I imagine. A very complete breakfast. Welcoming and attentive staff.

The room was very small and poorly soundproofed. We stayed there during a heatwave hoping for some relief from the heat, but the lack of air conditioning made our stay difficult, especially since this didn't seem to have been taken into account. The terrace also lacked privacy, with a direct view into the neighboring rooms. On the other hand, the location is a real plus, right across from the beach.

Upon hearing the news that the Michelin Guide had awarded its restaurant a Bib Gourmand for 2026, we simply had to return to the Hotel des Isles! Delicious! And it's still just as incredible to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves.
