Quite good. It's almost too popular in high season especially Saturday evening. Tight seating but not uncomfortable. Menu limited but adequate if you don't expect too much. Not too expensive but food not exceptional. Overall satisfied under the circumstances but Cateret is not my personal choice for good value dining. Wonderful today. Thank you

We would have liked to have a light lunch there with six people, sitting outside in the sun. Unfortunately, there was no table service and no dining on the terrace. Not even a glass of cider was available. So we ordered cola and coffee inside, paid, and took them outside. What a shame.

A wonderful discovery in this town where we were staying while visiting the Cotentin peninsula. A very warm welcome, excellent homemade cuisine, and great value for money. We ate there as a party of nine in a quiet and very pleasant private area. Well done to the whole team! I highly recommend it!

First visit to this restaurant. We're not from the area, but there should be places like this everywhere. A very warm welcome, smiling and friendly waiters. The dishes were excellent and generous. I highly recommend it.

A homely lovely atmospheric place. Lively with great service. A limited menu of traditional dishes which doesn’t inspire but certainly delivers. Smoked haddock starter a stand out along with the asparagus topped with crumbed feta and a balsamic dressing. Very simple and very delicious. A great value enjoyable experience. Thank you.

20/04/2026: From the moment we arrived, we were charmed: the small park at the entrance, the warm welcome, the room—everything was perfect. The tranquility, the view of the marina, the comfortable bedding, and the breakfast (featuring local products) made for a truly delightful weekend in Barneville-Carteret. The owners are attentive and offer excellent advice.
05/04/2026: Great hotel, excellent location. Superb breakfast with high-quality, locally sourced products. The owner is very friendly; I highly recommend it.
