Charming hotel and restaurant. The rooms are quiet, very pleasant, tastefully decorated, and feature a functional and elegant bathroom.
The cuisine is refined and sophisticated. The staff is professional and friendly.
I highly recommend it for a wonderful stay in a typical village.
Ideally located in the beautiful and unique village of Salers, the hotel offers stunning mountain views. The impeccably renovated room had a somewhat impersonal decor. The staff was welcoming, the food authentic, and the service excellent. Don't forget the lovely mountain walks to complete a pleasant stay.
A quick two night stop off at the Logis hotel in Salers.
Tucked away in a corner of this medieval village and with amazing views over the surrounding countryside.
The staff are friendly and the hotel is well maintained. Breakfast has a good selection of pastries, cereals, local meat and cheese.
There is parking in front of the hotel and extra parking further along the esplanade - access into the village is very tight - with steep roads and tight corners with stone archways - and two way traffic!
Lovely place to stop off for a couple of days - and also can provide spa treatments within the hotel.
Very well-located hotel with a magnificent view to the sound of cowbells in the valley below.
Small park nearby for walking the dogs.
Spacious, very clean room with comfortable bed.
Large bathroom with walk-in shower.
(A kettle would be a nice touch.)
Very friendly staff; dogs are welcome, even in the restaurant, which is appreciated.
Varied breakfast with eggs, cold cuts, fruit, and pastries.
For dinner, for my part, the crayfish starter had far too much crème fraîche and lacked flavor, and unfortunately, I ended up with a slab of Salers cheese.
Otherwise, the homemade iced nougat was excellent.
As for the spa, I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Sabrina Fageol, who is very professional and, with her medical knowledge, her head massage is fabulous.
Very dedicated, her massages are extremely relaxing.
With her charm and calm, the rest and change of scenery were complete.
I highly recommend.
