We ate very well 😊 hearty evening menu with a 'small' Auvergne salad that puts many so-called XXL salads to shame, excellent truffade, very good local beers and attentive service with a smile, calm atmosphere in the small side alley, very pleasant in the middle of the heatwave.

We had the €26 set menu with a bottle of wine and the meal was very good. The truffade was replaced with fries because my husband doesn't eat dairy, but for dessert, it wasn't possible to exchange a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a scoop of sorbet. I didn't think that was very nice!

Completely satisfied with the €26 set menu, which offered a choice of well-cooked, generous, and beautifully presented Auvergne dishes. The welcome was friendly. The service was quick, and the restaurant is ideally located in the heart of the historic center.

We were very happy with our meal, which included a starter, main course, and dessert for €26. It would have been hard to find better, especially since our meat was a Salers beef!
The service was perhaps a little slow, but the restaurant was full! The service was also perfect. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful meal, traditional Cantal cuisine made with local products. The portions were very generous. The staff were very friendly. A small restaurant in the heart of Salers, a very pretty village.

Luckily, we arrived early and received excellent service without any waiting.
I'm only giving it 4 stars because the salad could have had more ingredients than just green leaves…
The cheese plate was generous and the Salers steak was very tender.

A fantastic place! We love going there for lunch or dinner whenever we're in our beloved Cantal region.
The bourriols are excellent, as are the other dishes and desserts!
