Hotel du Centre sur Vayrac

A warm welcome, impeccable service, and excellent northern cuisine. Pure bliss!

Last night, the locals had organized a "couscous" evening, and needless to say, we were there. We enjoyed a generous portion of couscous with three kinds of meat. The meats were delicious, the semolina was prepared with just the right amount of spices, and to finish, there was a Pavlova, a light and refreshing dessert with red berries, grapefruit, and whipped cream, all on a meringue base – the perfect way to end a good meal.

We spent two days in the large apartment. The bedrooms are spacious, and the entire apartment is clean and pleasantly roomy. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a very convenient oven and a large refrigerator with a freezer. A washing machine, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, dish towels, large bath towels, a hairdryer, nice toiletries, and even coffee for your first cup are also provided. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the ground floor. It's a simple but very tasty breakfast, consisting of delicious crusty bread and a large pain au chocolat, accompanied by a large glass of orange juice, unlimited coffee, butter, and lovely jams. The owners are very attentive and always ready to help if you have any questions. We highly recommend this lovely place!

Exceptional apartment in the beautiful little town of Vayrac, a hidden gem on the Dordogne. The whole apartment is super clean and very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable; the kitchen has everything you need for a short or long stay. There's easy parking in the quiet road just outside. Fabrice & Virginie are always super welcoming and helpful. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt!

A Unique Place (LU) Here, everyone knows each other, everyone says hello, even if they don't know you. A very simple, very friendly, and therefore very welcoming place. Traditional cuisine; the owner is in charge of the cooking, using excellent ingredients and serving generous portions. Excellent value for money. Rooms upstairs and even apartments with the option of a meal tray in your room in the evening. A large parking lot 50 meters away, the one belonging to the town hall. The owners are very kind and have a great sense of humor. In fact, it's the center of the world in Vairac.

A very good dinner. Offering dishes from the North of France is a challenge in such a gastronomic region. After a day in the cold gardening, I needed a hearty meal: I was served a generous and delicious Welsh rarebit. I had trouble finishing it! The service was friendly and unpretentious. A great place to eat well without breaking the bank. I'll be back to try the other dishes from the North, or even the pizzas, which looked delicious and smelled wonderful.
