I was with a tour group. Rooms are small by USA standards but they are immaculate,everything works.Air conditioning was adequate and it was 95 degrees outside.

Great hotel in a converted convent, in old town and a short stroll from the Palace of Popes. The pool needs attention, but it's pretty remarkable to have one at all in a property like this, especially with how hot Avignon can get in summer. Dinner at the restaurant was better than passable, and fresh orange juice for breakfast. Ask for a room in the historic rather than the new building.

This message is for the management or the owner of the hotel. We stayed at this hotel for four nights and found that the pillows on the bed and the sheets are very thin and inexpensive.
For the owner of the hotel to purchase better quality sheets is worth it, because the guest sleep on them for eight hours

What a magnificent hotel! The location is splendid, the welcome was perfect, and the breakfast delicious. The only slight drawback was that one of the bathrooms was perhaps a little too small, and there were some unpleasant smells coming from the drains (but it was raining heavily). I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

A beautiful building in a superb location. Right in the heart of Avignon, but in this former monastery you are not bothered by city hustle and bustle or noise.
The finish and furnishings of the rooms are not optimal, but our room was large, clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.

If you read the reviews they vary a lot! I had a great holiday in Cloitre St Louis, so I am a supporter. The building is fabulous and full of character. We stayed in a huge old room. It had great WiFi, adequate air-conditioning but the plumbing could be improved a bit.
I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, both at breakfast and in the evening.
The position is probably the best in town. Close to the station and buses for public transport and access to parking. It is near a huge number of restaurants and bars if you want to explore. I liked the staff who were friendly, helpful and hard working.

A lovely day in Avignon.
The location and setting were exceptional, and the room was very pleasant and spacious. The breakfast was well-stocked and of very good quality.
Next time we will request an accessible room, as there were steps to move between the small lounge and the bedroom, and the Wi-Fi was not working despite technical interventions.

This place has it all. Affordable, nice restaurant, well-trained friendly staff, rooftop swimming pool. The grounds are very peaceful and vast. It's a repurposed cloister. I love how they do that in Europe. Reserve a place here anytime without the slightest reservation. You won't be sorry. also convenient to many good restaurants

Very nice hotel, charming location, just a stone's throw from the center on foot. Nice room, small bathroom with separate toilet in another small room. Excellent breakfast. Recommended.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff who made our 40th anniversary celebrations very special. The reception ladies in particular went over and above to help me with a problem for which I am extremely grateful. Great position to see the sights. Lovely!
