Hotel du Commerce sur Chatel-Guyon

This isn't our first time here, and it won't be our last. The portions are always generous and delicious.

Placed in a draft... a dirty glass and fork... practically forced to eat... the steak wasn't very tender, I had to slice it thinly like a roast beef... the prices ending in 90 (but not 99)... in short, 3 stars, no more...

We visited twice during our stay in Châtel-Guyon. I recommend this restaurant for its welcoming atmosphere and the quality and quantity of its food.

I highly recommend it! Local dishes made with good fresh produce, welcoming staff.

A wonderful evening thanks to a lovely, attentive, and caring team. Thank you again, Oscar. hnrnr

Local dishes and friendly service

We came as a group of four. We received a warm welcome, the waitress and manager were friendly, and the menu was decent, despite the fries being of average quality. The major problem was that we were comfortably seated on the terrace until two smokers arrived. With the wind, the smoke blew directly towards us. We are non-smokers, and this made it a very unpleasant experience. It's a real shame, and we won't be returning unless a smoking ban is implemented on the terrace. Would my idol, Philippe Etchebest, agree to a smoking ban on the terrace or to create separate smoking and non-smoking areas? Our daughter lives nearby, and we had planned to come to the bistro regularly.

The terrace is very pleasant, the local dishes include vegetarian options, and the homemade desserts are a real treat!

Friendly welcome and dynamic team, very good local cuisine. I highly recommend it!
