07/06/2026: An absolutely magnificent place, where every detail has been carefully considered to offer a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a team of exceptionally warm, attentive, and highly professional servers. Their knowledge of wines and other beverages is remarkable: their explanations are clear, precise, and delivered with passion, allowing us to discover new flavors with complete confidence. The presentation of both the drinks and the dishes is simply superb, elegant, and refined. We opted for the eight-course tasting menu, which is definitely worth the trip. We paired it with a wine pairing and a glass of white wine, both excellent and perfectly selected to enhance each course. Each plate arrives at the table like a true work of art, immediately sparking curiosity and the desire to taste it. As for the cuisine, it is exceptional and full of surprises. Each dish is a discovery, both visually and in its combination of flavors. We were constantly amazed by the originality of the creations, the quality of the ingredients, and the masterful cooking techniques. The flavors were incredible, perfectly balanced, and rich in flavor, offering a true culinary journey from beginning to end. A remarkable dining experience that perfectly combines an enchanting setting, impeccable service, and inventive cuisine. An address I recommend without hesitation and where I will gladly return.

16/07/2026: The staff and management were incredibly attentive, and this place deserves to be better known. We had a lovely, relaxing time enjoying the beautiful pool, jacuzzi, and charming restaurant. Thank you, I will gladly return.

04/07/2026: I was in Châtel Guyon for a spa treatment, but my room had no air conditioning in a three-star hotel. I was disappointed and exhausted after three nights; it was impossible to rest.

10/07/2026: This week, we had a reservation at the restaurant, L'Oursin, in the Hotel Les Roches in Le Lavandou. We had thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant in July 2025. We have a 2.5kg Yorkshire Terrier who accompanied us in July 2025, and this hadn't caused any problems. This year, we had booked for dinner and were really looking forward to it. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the staff informed us, to our great surprise, that dogs were not allowed, not even dogs of that size. We pointed out that we had dined there in July 2025 without any issues. Furthermore, the fact that animals are prohibited is not mentioned, to my knowledge, on the restaurant's website, nor in the reservation confirmation. The restaurant staff confirmed that this information was not on the hotel's website or on the reservation. They also told us that the hotel owner is very strict on this matter and refuses all animals in the hotel or restaurant without exception. I think that with a little common sense, the restaurant staff could have found a solution to salvage our evening. Besides, the restaurant has a terrace, and our dog stays right by our feet and doesn't move. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff were inflexible and asked us to leave because of our little Yorkshire Terrier. It was 9 pm, and of course, the evening was completely ruined. I don't usually write many reviews and I'm quite accommodating, but in this situation, I advise anyone who loves animals against going to this establishment. We were treated unacceptably despite the lack of communication from the restaurant, L'Oursin, regarding animals. I therefore advise you to avoid this establishment. There are other places, like the Cavalier Club, La Rastegue in Bormes-les-Mimosas, or Le Jardin, La Villa Douce in Rayol-sur-Mer, or even Le Cheval Blanc in Saint-Tropez, where you'll be treated much better if you love animals.

10/07/2026: We had two coffees; it's our second time here, more for the beauty than the service. No sugar with the coffee, no biscuit, no glass of water. All the most basic cafés and brasseries offer a speculoos or a small homemade biscuit. For establishments like this, that would be normal; we come here expecting better service, but we didn't get the basics. Very disappointed. Luckily, the view makes you forget everything.

12/07/2026: A rather understated storefront, a quiet interior terrace in a courtyard. A pleasant initial phone reception, followed by an online in-person check-in. Delicious local dishes. It could have been a 4-star establishment. Then, at the end of our meal, the chef came around the dining room with a bottle of house digestif. He offered us some, and we took some, thinking it was a gesture from the restaurant. When we paid, the bill showed two digestifs at €5.90 each. We pointed this out to the chef who was serving us. There was no reaction other than, "I offered it to you, not on the house." It doesn't exactly make you want to come back!

12/07/2026: The bougnate was excellent, a real treat. Unfortunately, the experience was spoiled by overly pushy service (we hadn't even finished our meals before he was asking us what we wanted for dessert). Although we had simply ordered coffees after dessert, the waiter insisted heavily on serving us the liqueur made by his boss without ever mentioning the price beforehand. To top it all off, this drink was more like a syrup and was automatically charged at €5.80, appearing on the bill as "Poire William" when it wasn't. I believe serving a product under a false name is illegal... It's a shame, the quality of the meal deserved a more honest and transparent experience.

19/06/2026: The welcome was appalling, the waitress unpleasant and bordering on disrespectful to customers. The cheese in the Guyonnade was far too overcooked and impossible to remove from the dish; a very bad experience. Judging by previous reviews, this doesn't seem to be typical of this establishment, which is a shame for us. We won't be returning.
