The room service is impeccable and discreet, depending on guest availability. We felt comfortable, and breakfast was a pleasant experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I am very surprised by the negative comments I read after posting my own with my wife. As a legal expert for 60 Million Consumers, I stand by my opinion and believe that some of the negative reviews have dubious origins. I have not observed any of the negative comments that have been made about this establishment, especially by the manager's son, who is very helpful and communicative with his guests. I checked the comments of someone named Paoline who left at least 25 very negative reviews. I wonder, when someone isn't happy, why come 25 times? Unless this person only came once and then relentlessly attacked the establishment. When you have something to say, you should tell the managers directly. These comments, given their sheer number, aren't credible. Everyone should judge for themselves when they're there.

We spent two nights at this hotel while visiting the Colmar and Turckheim markets and were very satisfied with all the services and the excellent, complete, and delicious breakfast each morning. A big thank you to the father and son for their very warm and friendly welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel du Ladhof. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm and genuine welcome from Louis at the reception. He personally escorted us to our room and clearly explained all the facilities, which immediately made us feel comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was lovely — a simple and authentic French breakfast, well prepared and enjoyable. What truly made this place special for us was learning about its history. Louis kindly shared how this hotel has been run by the same family for generations, starting from his great-grandfather, then his grandmother, and now continuing through the family. You can genuinely feel those family values and warmth here — something that is rare today. While it may not compete with large corporate hotels in terms of modern luxury, it offers something far more meaningful: authenticity, care, and a true family atmosphere. That made our stay emotionally special and memorable. The location is also convenient and peaceful. Overall, a very pleasant experience with real hospitality. We would happily recommend this place to anyone who values warmth, history, and genuine service.
