Hotel du Parc - Restaurant Rouget de L'isle sur Lons-Le-Saunier

28/04/2026: First experience and really disappointed. The welcome wasn't very warm and the prices were truly excessive for what was offered. We opted for the regional menu at almost 50 euros (starter, main course, and dessert), and at 50 euros, I was expecting something more refined and a bit more sophisticated. For my starter, I chose the mushroom tart with Vin Jaune cream sauce (at a hefty 19 euros), and I ended up with a mushroom base and bits of toasted bread on top. :/ Having eaten a mushroom tart before, I was shocked when that arrived… For the main course, the gratin was okay, but frankly nothing special, far too runny… and three pieces of sausage that were practically chasing each other. The dessert, an exotic panna cotta, was good! In conclusion, considering the quality of the ingredients (even though, as someone from the Jura region, I recognize that good Vin Jaune and Comté cheese come at a price), the prices are a bit of a rip-off.

04/04/2026: Excellent restaurant with well-prepared dishes. Spacious dining room. The only downside was the speed at which the order was taken; we didn't really have time to read the menu. Pleasant staff. I still recommend it.
