Hotel Du Roc Restaurant sur Castellane

One night at the Hôtel du Roc. Everything was perfect for me. Great welcome, the owner very active, very caring for us at breakfast time. The ideal location for visiting the city, magnificent region.

Came here for food only. It was OK. It's a busy little town at times and I'd recommend that you make reservations for your evening meal.

Reviews for the restaurant: Despite the pink napkins on gray tables which didn't really set off the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the cuisine. The prawns flambéed with pastis were excellent! The rum baba was a little too strong in rum but it was very good. The breakfast formula at 7 euros is very advantageous, I recommend!

I can't judge the rooms for being there only for lunch. The welcome is very friendly, I appreciated the location off the central square, much quieter for once. Personally, I enjoyed the dish of the day! A good address!

We didn't take advantage of the hotel. However, we ate there, the service is great and the food is excellent value for money. The dish of the day was great, I recommend this restaurant.

The food is good but the service is way too long. We waited a good half hour to receive our starters and more than half an hour to receive our dishes, a shame because we lost time in our day to be able to do more visiting.

Giornata invernale a Castellane nonostante fosse aprile, decidiamo infreddoliti e bagnati, di entrare in questo ristorante, siamo stati accolti dal proprietario che molto gentilmente ci ha fatto accomodare, il locale è piuttosto bruttino però si mangia più che discretamente, noi abbiamo preso due bei carpacci di carne con delle ottime patatine fritte e poi tre dolci e infine il caffè, con due bei bicchieri di vino e acqua minerale abbiamo speso in due solamente 50,10 euro; direi che ci può stare considerando l'estrema cortesia nel servizio.
