26/08/2026: Probably the best restaurant in Castellane: recommended by our hotel, a wonderful place where you can really feel the chef's enjoyment in preparing their dishes. A warm welcome, very attentive service, and superb cuisine.

14/08/2026: It's difficult to find a place to eat in the evening during the peak tourist season in Castellane. We were seated immediately and served quickly for a very reasonable price.
11/08/2026: Had a delicious pizza kebab here together...very good and tasty, no long wait. €12 for a really big, tasty 🍕😋👌🏻
Plenty of space on the terrace and our doggy was also very welcome🐾very friendly service!
In short, highly recommended 👌🏻

The "Focaccia" burger of the day was very good, perfectly executed.
The homemade desserts were also very good. The tiramisu was delicious, and a generous portion for someone with a big sweet tooth!
I recommend it.

25/08/2026: I stayed 3 nights... Absolutely inadequate value for money. The room looks like a broom closet. The bathroom has a sliding door with zero privacy.
Stairwell carpet is smelly and full of stains. Parking is reserved, so to speak, since I had to leave my car outside for one of the 3 nights. The common areas are filthy. The breakfast room is decent and the selection is good, but not included in the price.
13/08/2026: Very convenient in the centre of Castellane for going out during the day and doing outdoor activities and enjoying the village in the evening.

05/05/2026: May 1, 2026. Two nights. Hotel in the town square. Parking nearby, right in front. Room with a double bed, small but renovated bathroom, overlooking the square. Half-board: breakfast with hot drinks, juices, excellent croissants, bread, butter, jam, and yogurt. Dinner with a choice of two dishes and dessert, the daily special always excellent. Excellent value. It's not our first time here, and we'll be back.

20/08/2026: I'd gladly come again. Even though all the tables were occupied, the service was friendly and quick, and special requests were handled without any problems. The lovely lady who served me deserves special mention. Later on, more guests arrived and were able to take their tables after a short wait.
I had linguine with prawns and a green salad as a starter.
I was very satisfied. They do a great job.
19/08/2026: An excellent place we discovered by chance during our walks. I recommend the linguine with spicy prawns, the roasted camembert with figs, the beef cheek... The portions are generous and well-presented!

30/05/2026: The village is lovely, the front of the hotel, entrance and outdoor restaurant tables are quaint. The hotel itself is ok, we had a room on the second floor facing away from town, it was small but clean and the bathroom was renovated and comfortable. The downside for us was that the room was heavilly over-perfumed, and I mean really, really strong, open windows for as long as possible strong.
The staff were ok, the place is ok, the room was ok, the breakfast ok - unremarkable. We won't be going back.

27/07/2024: Afgaande op de reviews, dacht ik hier lekker te kunnen eten. Het tegendeel was waar. Het eten was smakeloos en het 'aziatisch' rundvlees smaakte naar stoofvlees. We hoorden trouwens de magnetron die het vlees opwarmde, het was dan uiteraard droog. Nog nooit zo slecht aziatisch gegeten. Mijn inziens is deze zaak door 2 jonge dames overgenomen is die niet dezelfde passie meedragen als de vorige eigenares.

04/07/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Matthieu's. He is a very welcoming host, always available and attentive to his guests' well-being. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable.
The surroundings are a true haven of peace: quiet, surrounded by nature, with a magnificent view that invites relaxation. After a beautiful day of hiking, what a joy it was to unwind in the spa! A real bonus that made the stay even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend this rental and will gladly return.
27/05/2026: We spent a few days together in the Chamatte house, rented by Mathieu.
The house is very well suited for two people, well-equipped, and spotless.
Mathieu is very helpful and pleasant.
The village of La Baume is very quiet and a starting point for several hikes. A very enjoyable stay.

26/08/2024: Bonne organisation et de bons produits, nous étions satisfaits. Il y avait un peu d'attente mais c'était normal car nous sommes arrivés lors du rush d'après midi.
11/08/2024: Brilliant day out at a crystal clean swimming lake. Rent pedalled, loungers and paddle boards. Lovely vibe, great fun and snack bar with good food. Huge car park.
