05/04/2026: A Périgord salad advertised as a main course. The result: 4 lettuce leaves, 3 small gizzards, and 2 thin slices of duck breast... for 17 euros?! Unbelievable. Burgertiflette: I'm still looking for the cheese! A single, measly slice of raclette cheese. Frozen potatoes, 1 slice of tomato, and 4 small, completely unseasoned arugula leaves! Fine for a beer. For a proper meal: go somewhere else. I made sure to mention it to the waitresses at the end, but I don't think my dissatisfaction reached the kitchen... what a shame! The value for money needs to be urgently reviewed!
18/03/2026: Our choice for lunch was obvious, as this was practically the only place open on a Monday for lunch. We were nevertheless satisfied with our dishes and the bill. The service was kind and attentive, and the staff spoke Italian, something I've seen quite often in France lately.

We frequented this place morning and evening during our short three-day stay.
The prices are very reasonable, and management does everything possible to retain customers.
I highly recommend it.
29/10/2025: Always a warm welcome. Fast and perfect service. Parking in front of the restaurant. Free in the evening. Very good pizza 🍕.

25/10/2025: My husband and I were wandering about with no real plans after drivingaway from Nice, except to see the countryside, and landed in this wonderful little village and at this lovely hotel. We ended up spending 3 nights in a clean and comfortable room. We were treated so kindly and respectfully by the owner and staff. Breakfast was deluxe with many options. We really hated to leave and hope to return in the not so distant future. Castellane is an excellent base from which to explore the breathtaking countryside and the view from the chapel above town is quite extraordinary. Every turn in this sweet place is an opportunity to learn about its history.

17/09/2024: We arrive at noon, at 12:35 I am told that the tartiflette is still cooking 🤣 is this a joke?
And the waiter who answers me if you have an appointment, you should not eat at the restaurant! thank you for the advice, keep your tartiflette... at 12:35 p.m. we came home for lunch and saved €55
Reading the comments, I see that we are not the only ones to complain about the wait...
Remember to question yourself!

27/07/2024: Afgaande op de reviews, dacht ik hier lekker te kunnen eten. Het tegendeel was waar. Het eten was smakeloos en het 'aziatisch' rundvlees smaakte naar stoofvlees. We hoorden trouwens de magnetron die het vlees opwarmde, het was dan uiteraard droog. Nog nooit zo slecht aziatisch gegeten. Mijn inziens is deze zaak door 2 jonge dames overgenomen is die niet dezelfde passie meedragen als de vorige eigenares.

05/10/2024: Purtroppo non riconosco le foto dei piatti recensiti, nulla da dire al personale (tra l altro tutto italiano) gentilissimo e simpaticissimo, ma i primi non sono sicuramente per noi italiani...pasta scotta e sugo insipido e dolciastro, forse si salva il secondo...l unica spiegazione che sia cambiato il cuoco...

26/08/2024: Bonne organisation et de bons produits, nous étions satisfaits. Il y avait un peu d'attente mais c'était normal car nous sommes arrivés lors du rush d'après midi.
11/08/2024: Brilliant day out at a crystal clean swimming lake. Rent pedalled, loungers and paddle boards. Lovely vibe, great fun and snack bar with good food. Huge car park.
