Stylish restaurant set within an upmarket hotel (don’t let that put you off). The menu had a great range of dishes so we opted for the tasting menu which was reasonably priced. Service was nicely paced and welcoming. Our meal took around 2.5 hours and consisted of 5 generous courses. The wine pairing was a nice addition - usually we’d avoid but this was sensibly priced and a decent amount per glass. Would recommend and go back.

Stylish hotel with a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff, great spa. Will definitely use again.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour le menu du marché ainsi que le menu enfant, les quantités sont plus que suffisantes. La déco est le point faible, manque de caractère pour mon avis perso Service attentionné

12/07/2024: En ballade à Chamonix, avons fait une pause pour déjeuner en terrasse dans ce restaurant. Bon accueil. Bon choix sur la carte. Nous avons choisi des salades César accompagnées d'une bière blonde du Mont Blanc. Bons produits et présentation. Une bonne adresse sur Chamonix.
02/07/2024: Très bon accueil, la serveuse très souriante, le plat commandé est arrivé en temps et en heure, ce magret de canard accompagné avec le gratin était délicieux je le recommande vivement.

La Potiniere

29/09/2024: We had coffee Saturday morning at La Potinière. The service was friendly and the place pleasant. We had two coffees, each costing €3.50. It's a bit excessive for a simple cafe, but maybe that's due to the touristy location. We also observed a customer ordering a fondue around midday. What surprised us was that during service, the handle for stirring the fondue was left in the fondue pot at the customer's house. In Switzerland, it's not done like that, but it was interesting to discover another way of doing things. A fun little cultural difference to observe.
26/09/2024: We stopped in for a late lunch early dinner on a rainy afternoon in Chamonix. I was attracted to the Menu du Marche, which consisted of Salade, Duck Confit and Tiramasu for 16 Euro! The food was delicious and we received fabulous service as we watched the rain. It was a great way to end our visit to Chamonix, which had turned on overcast but lovely weather until then rain.
