Need a real rest in a quiet room with excellent bedding? This is a great place to stay in the heart of Cognac, very close to the "La Salamandre" convention center and public transport. The hotel is very well-run, the staff is attentive, and the breakfast is far more substantial than the standard continental, both in terms of the quality of the products offered and the presentation and tableware. The 3-star rating is perfectly justified, and the renovation of this very old building, with its monumental staircase (a listed historical monument, no less), allows you to appreciate the comfort of a silent elevator and all the modern amenities in a historic and well-maintained setting.
