Hotel-Restaurant Le Plomb du Cantal sur Albepierre-Bredons

Based on the online review of the sample room, we were hoping for a pleasant end to our stay. What a disappointment! Under the pretext that it would be easier to transport our luggage, we were given a room that wasn't even worthy of a two-star rating: impossible to fit two suitcases, only one bedside table. The bathroom was dilapidated: a square sink in the corner, an ancient toilet, but the advantage was that you could wash your feet while sitting on the toilet, as the shower flooded the room if you used too much pressure. And all this for the price of a three-star room… So if you stay at this hotel, avoid room number 10!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel where everything is done to make guests feel at home. The cuisine is very good, featuring organic and/or local products. The atmosphere is cozy and the welcome is warm, even familial. The Tour de France will pass by this hotel in July 2026. Attention cycling enthusiasts if you want to take advantage of the many benefits of this excellent establishment while being in the front row for this sporting event.

A wonderful experience at the hotel! Ideally located in the heart of nature between Murat and Prat de Bouc, in a peaceful and relaxing setting. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel and the rooms are immaculate, spotlessly clean. A truly excellent place that I highly recommend!
