Hotel Restaurant Le Teinchurier sur Brive-La-Gaillarde

We were looking for a room for one night while we were moving with our pets. The hotel is very close to the highway, and the person who greeted us at 11 p.m. was very welcoming and kind. The rooms are simple, but the bedding is very comfortable and the rooms are clean. It was exactly what we needed before leaving!

We ate at the restaurant. A chance stop on our way to our holiday destination. The lunchtime set menu is very good. Perfect value for money. Impeccable cooking (rare). Top-notch staff. The restrooms are generally a good indicator of an establishment's overall hygiene. No complaints! We'll gladly return.

The room was ideal for one night for us. Very comfortable bed. Shower was big enough and had all the facilities you would expect at this price range. We are in the restaurant and the food was good but the service was slow for us but not for anyone else it seemed. We were in the restaurant before several other couples who also ordered starter, mains, dessert and coffee. Our starter and mains came out okay but we had to wait a long time fir dessert and then again fir the coffee. Other people, who came in after us, finished, paid and left long before we did. Apart from that everything else was good.

Arrived late without a reservation, the person at reception was very friendly, professional, and offered good advice. Free parking on site. Fast food 100m away. I recommend it! 👍👍👍

Old-fashioned room on the sand. Ideal bed for those who like sleeping on a board.

Good location on the edge of the highway in a busy commercial area (supermarket, restaurants, etc.) near the city center (though you'll need a car or bike to get there). Relatively quiet. Friendly welcome. Reasonable prices. Acceptable comfort. Spacious, well-furnished rooms. BUT. The rooms are outdated, poorly heated, difficult access to the ground-floor rooms (stairs), uninsulated doors, an overly heavy front door, and no towels on my second visit, for which I was upgraded. And an absurd and unreasonable ban on bringing outside food! I've never seen anything like it! Even though the breakfast is quite disappointing, being rather ordinary compared to others at the same high price.
