Hotel Restaurant Saint Regis sur Chalon-Sur-Saone

Old hotel with charm and well located in the center of Chalon but the rooms, service and breakfast are absolutely not 4 stars.

Very spacious and beautiful room

We stayed there for one night. On arrival the welcome was not that of a 4-star hotel to have experience everywhere in France! We paid the price for the superior room and got a far from superior room! Grandma's bathroom (unlike the photos on the site) too bad we can't add a photo here because it's really very limited! The cracked sink, the earthenware from another era...! 40 degrees outside and air conditioning barely working, reception is sorry! Uninteresting breakfast, at 9 a.m. no more cheese, we asked for some, there was none left! Ok… the staff (a young one) is not friendly at all, out of place! All the customers looked at each other, we all had the same opinion! This hotel is a 3 star but no more!

Missing air conditioning WC size limit....OK we don't spend 1 hour there but limit for overweight people 9:30 p.m. we were told to empty our glasses on the terrace No service on Sunday It's correct but a few small details for 4* to highlight

Great hotel. For its stars, attentive staff, comfortable rooms.

Nice hotel in a good location for the historic old town. Very good cuisine and, for us, an excellent breakfast.

A paid parking garage is available.

Rooms a little dated but spacious and well equipped. In the center of Chalon, not far from the station. Closed parking lot. Warm reception and good advice

We had a lovely evening at your hotel and restaurant. Every bite was a tasty surprise! Especially the pigeon was magnificent. Thanks to the chef and the whole team. 🇫🇷🙏´
