A very warm welcome, despite our late arrival after 2 pm on this Sunday. The meal was hearty and delicious; we were delighted to have lunch here.

The food is impeccable, the service is quick and friendly, and the ambiance and menu exude Basque charm. The wine selection is also excellent. A truly wonderful place; you won't be disappointed! Go for it!

Excellent restaurant! The welcome was perfect, warm, and friendly from beginning to end. We enjoyed an axoa and a black pudding: both dishes were generous, very well prepared, and truly delicious. The ingredients are high quality, and the flavors are spot on. A wonderful discovery in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. We highly recommend it and will gladly return on our next visit!

Excellent restaurant with superb and generous portions. Authentic Basque recipes that are a pleasure to eat. The pork axoa was delicious. Impeccable service and welcoming staff.

A perfect stop for lunch. Everything was perfect: the quality of the food and the way it was cooked (the trout was cooked to perfection and the black pudding was delicious), the efficient and very friendly service despite the crowds and the heat.

I've eaten better and tastier food; the bread wasn't good. The woman at the register was unpleasant... then the piperade looked like tomato mush. The bundle of carrots and green beans was completely uninteresting. The same goes for the baby potatoes; I was expecting good steamed potatoes. I'm a local, and this is the first time I've been disappointed by a dish from back home!
