Another visit to this must-visit spot in Balagne! What a pleasure to rediscover this magnificent restaurant and the entire team, including the new, courteous, friendly, and professional servers. The menu has been updated to reflect the latest trends, blending Corsican flavors with international influences. A huge congratulations to Chef Jean-Luc, who consistently reinvents himself year after year, and to his charming wife, who provides such a warm welcome.

We had an absolutely incredible lunch at I Scalini. Every dish was outstanding, but the goat cheese pâté was one of the best things we’ve eaten in Corsica—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The pizza was equally amazing, with a perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavor that made it unforgettable. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the hospitality. Our server and manager, Romain, was the perfect host—warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest had a wonderful experience. His recommendations and friendly personality elevated an already fantastic meal. If you’re in the area, I Scalini is an absolute must-visit. Incredible food, outstanding service, and an experience we’ll be talking about long after our trip. Five stars!

If they are serving the goat cheese pate, you *must*. Also the vegetarian pizza (which is slightly like we think of a focaccia in the states) is 🤌. The service is impeccable. Such a highlight!

Exceptional experience at the top of the village

Everything is in place for a wonderful evening: incredibly friendly staff, excellent food, and an absolutely marvelous setting. A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend!

This was our second time eating at I Scalini, and each time the magic worked its charm once again. The location is extraordinary, the rooftop perched like an eagle's nest high above the village with its breathtaking 360° view. But that's not the only thing this restaurant has to offer. The highly competent servers provide plenty of helpful advice, and the food is authentic and excellent. We'll be back!
