Iberica sur Strasbourg

October 5, 2026, 7:30 p.m. Neutral atmosphere, few customers. Where did this waiter come from who doesn't know the dishes and can't answer our questions? The tapas are excellent. The Pulpo a la parilla (grilled octopus) is very well prepared; the octopus is cooked just right, and the vegetables are too. The problem is the portion size: €26 for two octopus tentacles (and the vegetables!), even if delicious, is frankly outrageous. It doesn't feel like a luxury restaurant, but that's what you get. I'll have tried Ibérica, but only once.

A good restaurant for those of us who live outside of Spain and for those who want to experience a taste of Spain in France. The food was good, obviously not like in Spain, but for a day to reconnect with the country, I found it a very good experience. We ordered croquettes (there were only three, a bit pricey at eight euros, but they were good), Padrón peppers, which they brought us as we were finishing our meal (a bit odd), a Spanish omelet (not well-cooked, the potatoes were too hard), hake fritters (very good), mini hamburgers (very good), and to drink, we ordered two glasses of red wine with lemon (tinto de verano). Overall, it's good for a day out, and I recommend it for feeling a little closer to home or for starting to learn about our culture. I also really enjoyed the music; they played some beautiful Sevillanas.

The food was soooo delicious, and the service was top notch , would come again for sure.

Very pleasant service… very refined dishes

We had a great meal at Ibérica. The place had lovely vibes to itself. Standout dishes were the pimentos (simple but great) and beef brochettes. Also, pretty good was the Octopus and potato. The gambas ajillo was just alright - could've been more than 3 small gambas for the price. Service was also good. However, since the tables are small, it gets hard to accommodate multiple tapas and would've been nice if the server would've brought the dishes slower or recommended a solution. Atmosphere is top notch!

Each dish was a true discovery of flavors: generous, refined, and full of character, this cuisine takes you on a journey and makes you want to try everything. You can feel the genuine care taken with the ingredients and the combinations. The atmosphere also greatly contributes to the experience: a welcoming place where you feel comfortable and want to linger. An address I highly recommend and where I will return with great pleasure… again and again!

Impeccable service and an exceptional paella!

As soon as we sat down, we knew we were in for a great evening. The service was incredible, it's worth mentioning. And the food was great too, of course! We'll be back 😉
