What a wonderful discovery on Rue Campagne-Première! The setting is truly pleasant and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the dish served in its terracotta dish. The flavors were perfectly enhanced by a touch of parsley and garlic and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful time. We will gladly return to try the rest of the menu.

Small restaurant but a very warm welcome, couscous, vegetable juice and vegetables better than sometimes, generous portions of meat (traditional lamb shank or other) and classic mint tea: a good lunch

Having tried countless couscous restaurants, this is our favorite in Paris. Said provides a warm welcome, and the couscous itself is generous and excellent. You might find it a bit pricey, but the meat, broth, and vegetables are superb. The service is slow, but everything is homemade and cooked to order—go without hesitation!

From the moment we made the reservation to the restaurant, the waiter was incredibly welcoming; it was a truly wonderful and convivial experience. As for the food, it was excellent, in the purest Algerian tradition! A thousand thanks!

We were really craving a good couscous! And we got it, even though I also gave in to temptation and ordered a tagine. Delicious, fresh ingredients, and the team puts their heart and soul into it. And the mint tea is a must.

04/08/2026: At Omar's, it's always a pleasure, a journey, a convivial experience. The homemade merguez sausages are a delight, the lamb mechoui a treat, the same recipe for over 40 years. Omar's couscous is a crowd-pleaser among Americans, Russians, Middle Easterners, and North Africans. It's also a favorite in the fashion world, especially at fashion week events. The line starts on the sidewalk.
