We discovered it through our children, who come whenever they can, and now we've introduced Soummam to our friends! Besides the excellent couscous, our friends, who know Algeria well, had the pleasure of chatting with the owner. What a pleasant and friendly conversation, reflecting the spirit of this restaurant where sharing is key! A beautiful neighborhood, a bookshop, Notre Dame risen from the ashes... Don't wait any longer, go!

We really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately we booked the table through The Fork app. For some strange reason the restaurant reported us as not showing up to The Fork and apparently told them the same thing when they checked despite the fact I had pictures of the food and restaurant. Quite embarrassing and spoilt what was otherwise a good visit.

I enjoyed my meal, but I was expecting something more flavorful (I ordered the seven-vegetable couscous), without having to add harissa. The staff were very friendly, smiling, and welcoming. I loved the setting, the decor, and the music.

We celebrated my son's christening with our family at this restaurant. From the warm welcome to the delicious couscous and tagine dishes, everything was perfect. The manager and his team were attentive to our requests. We had a wonderful and unforgettable time. I highly recommend this restaurant and its generous portions.

L'As du Fallafel

17/09/2026: We went to a falafel place guided by AI chat GPT. To be honest, the Israeli flags inside bothered me these days. 🫤 We ordered a falafel and a turkey kebab. We also had a cola each, totaling around €40. The falafel alone was good. I wouldn't recommend the turkey kebab because it was tasteless. However, it was a filling meal.
15/09/2026: Excellent falafels!!!! But disappointed by the difference in preparation and its inconsistency: Two falafel sandwiches ordered at the same time, the first arrived perfectly, the second assembled upside down (the falafels at the bottom then the vegetables on top, but that's understandable...) and above all, there was a ton of sauce, it was very difficult to eat, it was swimming in it, and the bread, which is very good, was unfortunately soggy.

26/09/2026: Yahmi is one of our favorite restaurants in Paris! Delicious and refined cuisine, an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, warm and attentive service... and a peaceful setting, all while being in a vibrant neighborhood, just steps from the Seine! Simply the best!
