The couscous is pretty good...the nice place

We had a lovely lunch, the food and service are both excellent. With our next to no French the staff were so helpful, when we are next in Paris we will return.

A long overdue review for this charming Moroccan restaurant — one of the best meals I had in Paris. Chicken, pillowy couscous, vegetables, chickpeas, harissa… simple yet perfectly done. Make sure you get the mint tea! Service was exceptional.

Very nice address, every time I come to Paris, I stop. The couscous is excellent and the owner is discreet but very friendly. I enjoyed today again 👌

I've been going to La Soummam for at least ten years and have never been disappointed. The food is very good, service is friendly yet professional, and everyone I have brought here has been delighted. On our last visit in August 2023 my husband and I requested the only open window table and were told unfortunately that table was reserved. Just after placing our order we were pleasantly surprised when our charming server told us that he had held the table for over 30 minutes and if we still wanted that table we could have it. We had delicious lamb tagine with olives and preserved lemons as well as a small carafe of wine at the perfect table! I usually order couscous which is excellent (and more than anyone could possibly eat). Whenever I am in Paris I always try to return to La Soummam and highly recommend it as a comfortable place to have delicious Moroccan cuisine.

Great restaurant to eat couscous!! They give us decent portions and great quality of food for reasonable price. The grilled meat are a must here. Recommended.

Très bon accueil et surtout très bonne cuisine

Depuis 40 ans que je connais le restaurant, la présentation des plats proposés est soignée, les différents couscous ainsi que les différentes tagines sont savoureux et copieux, un régal. Les propriétaires, trois générations connues, ont toujours été aimables, serviables et très sympathiques, à chaque séjour sur Paris, nous y allons pour déguster l un des plats cités ci-dessus. Restaurant à recommander les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçus.
