A fantastic new team: welcoming, smiling, and with great advice about our destination. Quiet rooms with very comfortable beds, despite the road. A superb breakfast with a wide selection. There's also a very comprehensive buffet with hot dishes available. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back 🙂. Thank you so much.

Simple hotel. Very welcoming staff, with the option to leave our bikes in a dedicated room. The evening and breakfast buffets were of very good quality. Excellent value for money.

Welcoming staff. Clean hotel. A pleasant surprise: they have a restaurant (simple, admittedly, but at least you don't have to go out to eat) with an all-you-can-eat starter and dessert buffet for €15. Excellent value for money, ideal for visiting the Loire Valley castles.

We were greeted by the hotel staff, who were pleasant and attentive. The room was generally clean. However, we were surprised by the bathroom; there was hair in the shower! There was only lukewarm water, no hot water, which was a real shame.

Very good hotel for the price. Okay, the decor is a bit dated, but it's very affordable and perfectly adequate for one night. The receptionist was very kind and helpful.

L'Auberge du Moulin

28/07/2026: My wife and I stopped at this great little auberge with our dog on route to Château de Villesavin. The menu is simple but all everything was delicious, my favourite was the extensive salad buffet for the first course. Both the wine and desserts also excellent, whilst the waiter was friendly and made us feel at home. Their terrace area was an extremely welcome escape from the heat. At €18, the three courses plus cheese and wine was extremely good value. The auberge is unpretentious and reminded me of the brilliant no-nonsense french restaurants that I used to visit with my grandfather. A wonderful find...thank you for a great lunch!
