Everything was perfect! The meal was excellent, the service impeccable, and the waitresses incredibly kind. We came with our 3-month-old baby and were able to find a quiet corner where he could rest and sleep throughout the meal. Thank you for this thoughtful touch.

The last two dishes we ordered were bad. The egg custard with pineapple sauce was tasteless and characterless, as was the tartlet. The dough was not fresh or crispy, and the cream was tasteless. The bream dish was very tasty, as was the duck meat. Our waitress was not focused enough and did not remember who was eating which dish. Overall, it was okay, but not a heavenly experience.

Started with an excellent glass of champagne followed by cold grilled eggplant with pistou and pine nuts.
After that, we ate a fantastic Parmesan risotto with various grilled vegetables. During our visit: broccoli, white and purple cauliflower, etc. The portions are large.
With this, we drank several glasses from a local winemaker who has bottled Grenache (red grape) as white wine. A delicious recommendation from the waitress.
Only the noise level in the restaurant was a bit disappointing, due to the lack of sound-absorbing elements, especially when the place is full. The noise level is better at the entrance, so reserve a table there if possible.

This was an exceptional dining experience. I thought I had been everywhere in Aix and then I found this hidden gem! Our menu included appetizers main course and dessert for 49 euros. Everything was delicious and well presented prepared with a level of creativity that made our experience memorable. I cannot

A small and authentic local restaurant
We took the 3-course menu and really enjoyed it. The food was tasty, fresh, local and authentic, with a lovely focus on seasonal ingredients.
The zucchini flower was our absolute favorite — definitely something we would recommend trying!
It’s a small restaurant with no tables on the terrace, so a reservation is highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful evening here. The staff were so lovely and our waitress gave us an excellent red wine recommendation. The food was beautifully presented, simple flavours very well executed. The quality of the ingredients was also a standout, the pork main course that we had was just delicious. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend.

We had booked a table at 9:15 pm at the restaurant Il était une fois and had a very pleasant evening. The service was impeccable: the staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We enjoyed a delicious meal, and the dishes were beautifully presented. The wine list also offered a good selection, with bottles in various price ranges to suit all budgets.
