Beautiful, quiet restaurant with very friendly staff. We stopped by by chance and found the last table; I highly recommend booking. The food is excellent; the filet de canette is a must-try, delicious!

An exquisite dinner, every dish meticulously crafted. We had the duck, and it was perfect: tender meat, a sauce that paired perfectly, perfect. The desserts, needless to say, did not disappoint, equally amazing. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best dinner in Aix. The place and staff were delightful.

We had a very enjoyable dinner here. Friendly staff, good service and fantastic food. The menu changes every month so features seasonal and local produce. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented.

22/05/2026: What a wonderful restaurant with amazing vegan dishes in the beautiful Aix en Provence. The server seems to also be the chef, and he works hard. Our table ordered the pasta, the ribs and a middle Eastern dish plus two fabulous appetizers. I highly recommend this restaurant for vegans and non vegans alike. It was a welcome relief after searching through hundreds of menus across France for vegan dishes on our trip.
19/05/2026: This small and charming restaurant has a lot of character, great music, and fantastic food. The server was helpful and had a great personality.

05/08/2026: Excellent meal at Le Poivre d'Âne, creative, refined cuisine, and superbly presented. Attentive service, pleasant setting. A place to recommend without hesitation!
