While exploring Aix-en-Provence, we were drawn in by this short but well-thought-out menu and the promise of local, seasonal produce. A very good find! We started with a delicious pissaladière with an ultra-crispy crust. A generous plate of perfectly cooked duck breast with crisp vegetables and a melt-in-your-mouth beef stew followed. The cheese course could have been brought out earlier to fully appreciate its flavors and was a bit small for €14. The floating island with praline was quite indulgent, and the Languedoc wine from Lyon was very good, although the carafe of water was unfortunately at room temperature. The service was friendly and efficient, the setting pleasant, and the tables offered a sense of privacy: we will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely experience!

A truly delightful lunch at La Tomate. Food was delicious and service was exceptional. Terrific wine list too and the local red we had was fantastic.

One of our favorite places in Aix. Lovely atmosphere, an exceptional seasonal menu that changes monthly, and wonderful people. Allergens are always clearly marked. They have gluten free options, vegan or vegetarian option, always a fish option. And the desserts are lovely. This is Poached pear Helene with rich chocolate sauce.

Excellent restaurant! The vegetarian meal was well-prepared and delicious. Several vegetarian options were available, which is a nice change from other restaurants. The dessert (carrot cake) was also very good, a perfect balance of indulgence and lightness! The staff and the place were very pleasant!

Discovered by chance while strolling through Aix, this restaurant is exactly the kind of place I wish someone had recommended. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; the dishes were high-quality and truly delicious, and the welcome was warm. I highly recommend it.

I'm a regular, and my family and I often eat there, and we also frequently bring friends. Everything is homemade, from the drinks to the desserts. Plus, the prices aren't high, especially for this quality. But above all, the taste is simply divine 😍 The menu changes regularly depending on the season, and there's always something for everyone: meat, fish, vegetables… even vegan! There's something for everyone. The staff and owners are so friendly… I highly recommend it if you want to be sure of a great meal 👍
