My favorite dinner I ate in Paris. We walked in knowing very little French, and the waiter/manager was patient and knew a bit of English. I ordered the gnocchi with prawns and it was AMAZING.

Disappointed. I had very fond memories of the restaurant from about fifteen years ago. I returned with enthusiasm, but the waiter (owner?) was about as welcoming as a prison guard. It seemed as if our mere presence displeased him. He brought appetizers only to remove them a few minutes later, before we'd even had a chance to touch them. It's a shame because there aren't many restaurants in the area, the terrace is pleasant, and with friendly service, it could be as popular as the Palais de Vandan at the end of the street. I hope so for you, anyway :)

Generous portions of appetizers and main courses. A delightful combination of flavors in the side dishes, sauce, and main ingredient. The portions are very generous. Everything ends on a sweet note. A great place I recommend for lunch with family, friends, or colleagues when you're in the neighborhood.

27/09/2026: There was so much sugar in the tomato tart that we felt like we were eating dessert instead of an appetizer.😀 Overall, the food was delicious, and the terrace was very nice.
18/09/2026: An exceptional dining experience at L’Assaggio at Castille Paris. The setting is elegant and intimate, the cuisine beautifully presented, and the attention to detail reflects the sophistication one expects from a Parisian luxury hotel. A special recognition goes to Vincent, whose service was truly outstanding. He was warm, attentive, gracious, and exceptionally professional throughout the evening. His ability to anticipate what was needed while allowing me to enjoy the meal at my own pace made the experience feel genuinely personalized rather than simply transactional. The agnolotti were beautifully executed, and the Sancerre was an excellent accompaniment. From the roses on the table to the polished service, the entire evening felt refined yet welcoming. Vincent is a tremendous ambassador for L’Assaggio and Castille Paris and deserves special recognition for elevating an excellent dinner into a memorable experience. Five stars without hesitation.

01/10/2026: An excellent place! 🇮🇹 We ate there three nights in a row with groups of 14 to 19 people, and we were delighted each time. Whether it was the pizzas, the pasta, or the meat dishes, everything was truly delicious, with very reasonable prices for the neighborhood, just a stone's throw from Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. A huge thank you to the entire team for their kindness, their warm welcome, and their flexibility: even with last-minute requests for large groups, they always found solutions to accommodate us perfectly. I recommend this place 200%! You feel comfortable there, the food is delicious, and above all, you're greeted with genuine warmth. If only restaurants like this could be found everywhere, it would be perfect!
