A fantastic experience! The real highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the raspberry mojito: it was simply incredible, perfectly balanced, and incredibly refreshing! We're already eager to come back for that alone. As for the main course, I devoured their cheddar burger: the burger is literally cut in half and placed directly on a plate piled high with melted cheddar... Absolutely divine! The welcome was excellent and the service was quick. A sure bet for a great time; we highly recommend it.

Unsurprisingly, simple and efficient, very welcoming

Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit to Hippopotamus. The restaurant offers exactly the ambiance you would expect from a good American steakhouse: a pleasant atmosphere, stylish decor, and truly attentive, friendly service. The food was consistently delicious. Both the spare ribs and the fillets impressed us and were of very high quality. You really feel welcome here. In our opinion, there's still room for improvement to earn a full 5 stars. The salad was a bit bland, and we would have liked at least one suitable sauce to be included as standard with the spare ribs. We ordered the delicious Roquefort sauce on the side. That would have complemented the dish even better and perfected the overall experience. We also didn't find the chocolate mousse very appealing. (And unfortunately, the little surprise for the children from the kids' menu was forgotten.) Despite these minor criticisms, Hippopotamus is a very good restaurant with solid, delicious food, great service, and a well-rounded steakhouse concept. We would definitely come back. A very good 4 out of 5 stars!

Very busy and it takes a long time to be served. Simple but good food.

My friend ordered her dish specifying "well-cooked," and this is what she received; it's a shame. But apart from that, it was good.

We arrived on a Sunday evening and found that some items were unavailable, which was a shame as we would have liked to know this from the start. The fish and chips with tartar sauce were good and crispy, the fries weren't exceptional but acceptable, however, the piece of meat was unfortunately not a success, full of gristle. The beans were bland, and the rice, which was only available with chorizo, was not bad. The pepper sauce was a disappointment as it was simply flavored water. The waiter was very good.
