Quiet restaurant, perfect service and the cuisine is very true to Italy

A very good Italian restaurant with quality cuisine.

Very disappointed. We frequented this restaurant for years, as we lived right across the street, and we often recommended it. I came to order two pizzas to go. When I arrived, I was asked to wait. I waited between 15 and 20 minutes before anyone served me, even though the restaurant was empty and it was only 7 p.m. Once the order was placed, I was given a pick-up time. I returned 1 hour and 10 minutes later, at the agreed time, to collect my two pizzas. They still weren't ready… had they been forgotten? The unfriendly person at the bar simply asked me to wait again. After about fifteen minutes, a young, very kind and professional waiter finally brought me the pizzas. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn't end there: one of the pizzas had a tomato base when I had specifically asked for a cream base. It's a real shame, because we had a very high opinion of this establishment and regularly recommended it. This experience has left a bitter taste in our mouths.

The dishes are well-prepared and truly delicious; there's no fault to be found with the quality on the plate. However, the experience is marred by two major drawbacks: The wait: Expect to wait at least 45 minutes for your food to arrive. If you're in a hurry or just looking for a quick lunch break, this isn't the place for you. The portion sizes: The portions are quite small. You'll leave feeling a bit unsatisfied considering the prices. It's a shame, because the potential is there, but the speed of service and the generosity of the portions are still lacking.
