A trip to Italy without leaving Thonon-les-Bains! Italy on your plate! A visit to El Vesuvio saves you the drive while you savor the taste of Italy. Generous dishes, generous service, generous cuisine, and excellent value for money—what more could you ask for? It's completely incomprehensible that this restaurant isn't rated five out of five. Thank you for this culinary journey.

A wonderful discovery! It had been years since we'd had real Italian food! What a pleasure to introduce our children to authentic Italian cuisine. The portions were very generous and of excellent quality. Special mention to our son for the stracciatella ice cream and to the waiter who was very helpful and incredibly kind. Thank you so much, we had a wonderful time.

Beware, this lasagna dish is inedible and looks like it's from the war – a disgrace to be avoided at all costs!

Objectively, the food is very good, but the prices remain extremely high. As for the portions, the pizzas are good but could be a bit more generous. I once ordered the ravioli (6 pieces) and was still hungry after finishing my plate. (I should mention that I'm a woman, 1.60m tall and weighing around 50kg, so I'm clearly not the one ruining all-you-can-eat restaurants.) After mentioning this to the person at the bar, they offered me a coffee to compensate. The gesture was appreciated, but I would have preferred to be full.

The welcome was perfect; the staff introduced themselves warmly upon arrival. Once our order was taken, the dishes arrived quickly and were, moreover, delicious... It was the first time we'd eaten at such a good Italian restaurant. However, the wait time before we could order was abnormally long. By the time we ordered our main course, several tables that arrived much later had already enjoyed their appetizer, main course, and dessert. The service was haphazard and there was no prioritization; it seemed like chaos reigned among the staff as soon as there were a few customers. We wanted to order dessert, but by the time we managed to get an employee's attention, get someone at our table to ask for the menu, and then wait for that person to return to take our order, we gave up after a 30-minute wait and decided to leave. Watching other tables enjoy their meals while we waited for the employee who had signaled us to wait was a depressing experience; the restaurant should employ more people for table service during these kinds of periods... But the food was worth it, so we recommend it.

Thursday night with a DJ and disco music. The atmosphere was cosmic. Perfect welcome, impeccable service. We came specifically for their Bufalino AOC pizza, yum! I approve and recommend it.

We came for dinner last night, during the 80s night which we thoroughly enjoyed. The meal was excellent, as usual, and the restaurant even offered us two bottles of after-dinner drink. I wanted to emphasize the great kindness of the two waitresses throughout the evening. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
