Irish Company sur Tours

Dated to a restaurant on April 29, 2026. We enjoyed our cocktails and main courses. The servers provided good service. However, for dessert, I chose the "gourmet tartlet," which was the featured item on their menu. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. It was just buttercream, and you had to "find" the fruit in the dessert. I sent the dish back to the server, explaining that it was disappointing. When he returned, he told me he would remove it from the bill. When it came time to pay, the manager decided to charge me 50% of the price for the tartlet. I told the server that he had seen the same thing I had, that it was just cream. Frankly, it's ridiculous. I won't be returning to this restaurant. Given its convenient location, I don't think it would have been a problem to remove a poorly made tartlet from the bill.

The music was too loud. The waiter was very friendly and the service was relatively quick. The dishes we ordered were good. The French toast reminded me of my childhood... thank you!

I tried the double Wembley burger. Good meat, good fries on the side. Efficient and quick service. However, my Guinness was a bit flat, without the foam on top, which was a little frustrating. I'm not one to hold a grudge, I'll come back to try a triple burger with a large pint of Guinness.

Very good brasserie with welcoming staff.

Honestly, for our first visit to Tours with my wife, we decided once again to trust a local brasserie, "The Irish Company." We were greeted with a smile by both the manager and the waiter throughout our meal. We had a Welsh rarebit, which I highly recommend—it was absolutely amazing! 🤤 And an Irish steak with a fried egg...🔥 With a good pint of Guinness... And for dessert, homemade profiteroles that were simply divine! 🤤🔥 Honestly, it was just incredibly good, very fresh, and homemade... The quality and taste were there, and the atmosphere was incredible... All generations mingled in a relaxed and festive atmosphere... So don't hesitate any longer if you want to experience all of that; head straight to The Irish Company in Tours! 🍀🇮🇪🍺

Four of us were disappointed with the quality of the pizzas and the Spitfire appetizers...very disappointing. The pizzas were overcooked and hard to cut, as if they had just been taken out of the freezer before cooking. The same was true for the butter and sugar crepes, which were served cold, also as if they had come straight from the freezer. It's strange. None of us will be returning. We've been before with the same doubts about these products, which seem to be frozen.

Fantastic restaurant! I've been several times already, and the icing on the cake was St. Patrick's Day! 🤩 Superb service and welcome! Our table boss (Sacha) ❤️. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant, the prices are affordable, we were warmly welcomed, the establishment is accessible for people with reduced mobility, and the food is homemade!
