The food was quite good, and the dishes arrived fairly quickly despite the rush. The waiter who served us was lovely (tall and dark-haired), however, the one who seated us was rather unpleasant (short and dark-haired with tattoos). The music selection around 11 pm was questionable.

We had a very mixed experience at Brasserie Irish Company in Tours. Overall, I’d give it 3 stars: food 3/5, service 4/5, atmosphere 4/5. The biggest issue was the andouillette. I’ve eaten andouillette many times before and I know exactly what the strong, pungent smell is supposed to be like, so this was not a case of “not liking the dish.” The problem was that it was simply undercooked. The inside was not cooked through properly, which made the texture unpleasant and amplified the smell in a bad way. Honestly, it just needed more time cooking at a lower temperature. To the restaurant’s credit, the service response was excellent. The server was respectful, understanding, and handled the situation professionally. The kitchen also apologized immediately and offered to replace the dish, which we appreciated. The replacement burger was genuinely very good, with excellent-quality meat. However, I would avoid the “super cheesy” version. It’s basically a regular cheeseburger drowned in nacho cheese sauce, making it messy and impossible to eat normally with your hands. At that point, you’re eating it with a fork and knife, which defeats the purpose of a burger. The atmosphere fits the Irish pub style well, and the décor is fun, but the sports screens were extremely overstimulating. They’re positioned directly in your line of sight and feel almost aggressive visually. Smaller screens or screens mounted higher up would make the space much more comfortable. What ultimately keeps this from being a better review is management’s decision to still charge us cost for the bad andouillette. In my opinion, if a dish is improperly prepared and sent back because it is objectively undercooked, the restaurant should simply remove it from the bill. Especially when the customer clearly knows the dish and regularly enjoys it elsewhere. Overall, I would only recommend this place for very simple options like a standard burger or a basic salad or the chicken (which my girl has and was very tasty!)

I ordered the Demi poulet. Chicken was good! My preference would be for the salad to not be so covered in dressing. Large portion sizes. Our server was great, I would give 5 stars for what it is- pub food- but I have worked in the food industry for ten years and I don’t think it’s proper practice to charge a customer for a bad dish, which my partners was, and he was charged 7 euro to cover the cost. If he was trying this dish- wish is a more particular flavor- for the first time I would totally understand but he has had this dish many times and it was not cooked properly.

The food was quite good and the service was quick, which was appreciated. However, I was very disappointed with the service when it came to dessert. The waiter didn't clearly inform us that one dessert was no longer available when he handed us the menu. As a result, when it came time to order, I couldn't get the one I wanted. Admittedly, he would have mentioned it shortly afterward, but since I was on my phone at the time, I didn't hear. The waiter's reaction was particularly inappropriate: instead of calmly repeating the information, he got offended and asked me if he was "bothering me," saying he could leave. It's a shame, because with a little more professionalism and communication, the experience would have been much better.

What can I say? I've been in the restaurant business for 25 years... My wife, daughter-in-law, and I ate lunch on the terrace yesterday, Friday, May 15, 2026... Well... First of all, the servers don't have assigned seating... With our aperitifs, we ordered crispy chicken, which we had to ask for before we'd even finished our drinks. When it arrived, it was actually just breaded chicken breast cut into strips. I asked for a different chicken breast, which arrived at the same time as our main courses, so I refused it. I ordered a medium-rare ribeye steak, and it was barely cooked... There was no "courtesy" visit from us... The three or four servers "took care" of us, which made things a bit chaotic... For the price, I'd say it's reasonable... So, I don't recommend this restaurant...

Went in for lunch and a bit of a break. We received a very warm welcome from the staff, the burgers were nice and generous, and the beer of the day was delicious. It was perfect!
