Thank you for a lovely evening and a delicious meal. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in a beautiful Quebecois setting with a great atmosphere (music, hockey on TV). We had a meal for four: three burgers, one poutine, four drinks, and a cheesecake. It was all excellent, very generous portions, and great value. The owner was very kind and attentive. I booked a table at this restaurant because I had eaten there a year ago and thought it was perfect (great burger, other photos show them, fast service, great atmosphere). However, this weekend we didn't have the same experience (a 1.5-hour wait even though we were there for the first seating, dishes that arrived very cold, and the burgers weren't the same quality as before – nothing like the photos). Nevertheless, the atmosphere is still great, and the owner made a gesture of goodwill, which was appreciated. We hope to see the old Jack's again! See you soon!

My first time trying Canadian food, and I wasn't disappointed at all; quite the opposite, the meal was excellent, with more than enough food, and the value for money was outstanding. My only slight criticism is that it would have been preferable for the waitress to have her hair tied back while serving, which in no way detracts from the friendliness, pleasantness, and professionalism of the staff.
