While the service was impeccable, the food was questionable. The meats (fat-free duck breast and duck leg) were very dry and lacked any real flavor, overwhelmed by industrial sauces and excessive seasoning. The side dishes seemed to have been left out in the warm for too long, completely ruining the quality of the ingredients.

Delicious food completely ruined by the extremely slow service (45 minutes for the starter and just as long for the main course). No apology from the very unfriendly waitress.

We had lunch yesterday and were delighted with this restaurant. The staff and the owner gave us an excellent welcome, checking in to see if everything was alright. The service was quick, the waiters attentive, the setting unique, and the cuisine traditional French with excellent quality fresh produce. The dishes were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The superb location with its back courtyard and several dining rooms is fantastic. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Bravo! 👍

We ordered the duck confit, chicken and their in-house speciality, the pork and duck cassoulet. All the dishes tasted amazing and are a perfect reflection of what authentic French food should be! The duck confit and chicken was extremely fatty and tender. The cassoulet also tasted amazing with the extremely tender duck and pork. The service was amazing as the waiters constantly checked in on us to make sure we felt the food was okay and if we also needed more bread. To add on to our amazing experience, the Owner who is the chef surprised us with a small gift which really touched our hearts. Overall, the food tasted like a home- cooked meal cooked with love by the chef who has been cooking these dishes since 1985. This is probably one of the best restaurants I have eaten in aix-en-provence and I highly recommend others to try this restaurant if they ever come to aix-en-provence! 😋

Excellent restaurant. Here, the meat from the southwest is the star. The only slight drawback is that you have to like your meat rare.
