A truly wonderful stop in the heart of the Hautes-Chaumes 🌿 I loved discovering the Jasserie du Coq Noir, its history, and its simple, warm, and timeless atmosphere. And the area is definitely worth exploring: plenty of hiking trails all around, including the lovely Colporteur des Jasseries trail, and a huge playground for mountain biking enthusiasts. The perfect setup for me: a hike in the Hautes-Chaumes with a stop at the Jasserie before or after. A great way to fully enjoy the area!

A simple moment is suspended in time as you discover the mountain pasture, this historic hilltop where those who spent the summer grazing their flocks used to rest and eat. A moment of rare authenticity. The meal is simple in its choices but hearty and surprisingly delicious!

A real change of scenery, far from the heatwave, with positive changes to the menu offerings. Excellent charcuterie and a wide selection of beers. But no Patia for lunch.
