Jasserie du Coq noir sur Saint-Antheme

You want a complete change of scenery. A walk, a good rustic meal with a magnificent landscape.

This is where members of the "Les Tontons Mobeurs 42" club had lunch during a moped ride starting from Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert. Despite the rainy weather, we were welcomed by a very friendly and warm owner. The meal was hearty and the dessert delicious. If you wish, you can help with the evening meal by peeling Mona Lisas, and a coffee will be offered. They don't have draft beer, but they do offer local drinks and food. Don't forget to book in advance, otherwise you won't get a table. It's a shame the weather didn't allow us to admire the scenery, but the location is superb and unique. There's a small museum about local life to visit. We'll be back.

Superb inn housed in a restored thatched-roof mountain hut. Beautiful interior and lovely exterior with its view and shade provided by a canvas stretched over poles! The cuisine is local and absolutely delicious. The staff is fantastic. Highly recommended!

A very pretty, peaceful, cool, and elevated site. The museum is charming and transports you back in time. The snacks are delicious and tasty, with excellent charcuterie and cheese platters. Ample parking is available.

We had a wonderful time at La Jasserie du Coq Noir. The dishes were delicious, generous, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. A big thank you also to the waitress, who was very friendly, smiling, and attentive. Her warm welcome and good humor made our meal even more enjoyable. Superb medieval tavern atmosphere. The food is good and plentiful, and the staff are very friendly.

A magical, timeless place! When you go up there, you truly disconnect; the meals are delicious and authentic, the staff friendly and welcoming, the cultural programs varied, and the walks inspiring. Worth the trip, even for locals 🙏🏻

We discovered this unique place during a hike. A superb experience; you feel like you've stepped back in time to 1930, surrounded by mountains in a traditional mountain hut. Fantastic! Kudos for the warm welcome, the excellent service, and especially to Cathy for her radiant smile and boundless energy.
