A very pleasant walk from Megève. You can get there directly by car. There's a snack bar/restaurant on site.

Thank you for the warm welcome, the waitress was fantastic! The knochies and the Savoyard Nicoffee were excellent! Definitely add them to the menu! 🤣 We'll be back!

We received a very warm welcome, and the place is really nice with a beautiful view. The waitresses were fantastic, and there was a super cool dog to keep us company 😁 I'll definitely be back 🫶

A very good experience at the restaurant by Lake Javan! There were six of us, and we were seated immediately. The service was quick and attentive, and the staff were pleasant and smiling. The value for money is quite good for Megève, especially for a restaurant located directly on the slopes. An ideal place for a friendly lunch break while skiing. We will gladly return.

20/02/2026: We loved this place and visited twice during our week in Megeve. A friendly welcome and good hospitality at an unpretentious cafe bar. Food is consistently good and home cooked. A refreshing, authentic spot in an overpriced, overly-glamorous town.
15/02/2026: Good evening, we're here right now. Our phone battery died, and the lady at the tobacconist's kindly agreed to help us out. So we're having a drink and a delicious Nutella waffle for my son – fantastic! Everyone is smiling, efficient, and charming, plus they're showing a live rugby match on their screen – a great time! A big thank you to you all. I'm staying until Thursday and I'll definitely be back. A thousand thanks again, madam, you brightened our day! 💯👍

24/04/2026: We discovered La Table de l'Alpaga during our stay in Megève, and everything was perfect. Delicate and flavorful dishes, a magnificent setting, and attentive service. We had a truly magical time.
22/02/2026: Undoubtedly an excellent restaurant, but I was still a little disappointed by the choice of dishes. A revisited onion soup, endives, beef, and vegetables in the style of a pot-au-feu—certainly extremely well-revisited and elegantly presented—but the ingredients were still simple. The staff was very attentive. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, which I had mentioned when making the reservation, and the chocolate plaque that accompanied our dessert was engraved with "Happy Wedding Anniversary"... what a shame...
