A very good experience, a very friendly waiter, and our whole team thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Jo's platters were excellent, with a special mention from my brother-in-law for the Aveyron-style steak tartare, and the salads were generous and hearty. In short, a great place to eat.

Good restaurant and not too expensive

Excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef tartare with the cheese plate was fantastic. Beer and coffee were all great too. 👌

This time, the mussels weren't great...

A pleasant experience. A minor complaint: the mussels weren't hot enough, but they were tasty, so we sent them back to be reheated. There weren't enough staff, and they were running around trying to serve, manage the bar, and handle payments. When we went to pay with holiday vouchers, the waiter told us he could only accept two, but there was no mention of this anywhere (no logo at the entrance). We found out about this payment method on TripAdvisor (no limit on the number of holiday vouchers accepted), supposedly because the owners pay a tax on them. A little freshening up of the dining room would be welcome. Kudos to the waiters!
